Well, we got a call from our pediatrician on Thursday night. After talking with Aubrey's physical therapist he decided to make an appointment for Aubrey to see a neurologist from Primary Children's Hospital in Salt Lake. He said it is possible that Aubrey's hypotonia is indicative of a neurological disease. He thinks it could also just be a result of her being a big baby and growing so fast, that her muscle tone is having a hard time catching up. He is concerned enough about it that her wanted us to get her looked at as soon as possible. We have been feeling really scared and anxious about all of this, but are trying to remain faithful that the Lord knows what is best for our family. The appointment is Monday morning. In the meantime we are continuing Aubrey's exercises and stretches, and trying to have some fun. In the midst of all of this, we nearly forgot that our 3 year anniversary in on Monday! And, on another note of good news, Aubrey rolled over from her back to her tummy for the first time last night:) We put her to bed, and then she started fussing, and when Matt went to check on her she was on her belly! She did it two more times before finally falling asleep. It was pretty cute. We felt like it was a good sign. She has to have some strength to do that! Anyway, please keep us in your prayers and we will write again when we learn something.
P.S. I added a picture of Aubrey's room because I think blogs are always better with pictures:)
